if i'm understanding the link correctly, are you reffering to the HKS turbo's listed? if so these are turbo's...not kits. you can put a turbo on whatever you want, but you need a kit to make it fit and work correctly. forgive me if i'm wrong, but maybe someone can enlighten me?
if you want a turbo for the 3 go with HiBoost, currently topping out at 508hp on his highboost kit on build internals, with several owners running 250-275hp around town on stock internals on the base kit.
Hass also has a setup, but doesn't seem as throughly test at this point as the HiBoost kit.
i have the HiBoost kit on my 2.3 Mazda6 and putting down 238hp on 8psi in my atx.

I spoke with the guys at Turbonetics,..and they said they have thought about making a kit for the Mazda 3 2.3L but have other projects going on right now,.but will posibily get to it in the future. They would make a complete kit, and they are a reputable company.

Tracker,...are you %100 positive a turbo will cause you to blow your tranny? Everyone i talk to simply says that a turbo will cause a more aggressive wear of the engine,..but of course any go-fast item will increase wear,..but it all sorta comes down to how you drive your car,..you constantly romp the **** out of,..yeah,.things are gonna break....you only romp it down every now and then,..and use it like a normal perosn,..you should be alright for awhile. And a Nitrous kit is safer than a turbo. I don't know how much of a gear head you are,..or if you are just giving you own personnal opinion......just curiuos. My main source, is a friend who builds imports...currently he has a Honda CRX pushing 550 HP..to the wheels.
