I did the advance timing today only funny thing was that it looked like someone already moved the sensor a bit down...i don't hear any knocking or anything i moved it allll the way down now here are some before and after pics.

Whoa. Not much movement there at all. You may not notice any difference. It looks like you may have only gained a degree or two.
If itmakes you feel any better, and if you read that thread completely, you would know that different cars havehad the sensor set in different places from the factory. I'm sure they have a standard that they follow when setting the engine up.But not all engines are created equal. Yours may have needed more timing straight out of the box, that's all.
I estimate mine moved about 4-5*'s total. I bumped my Honda by 12* (from 0*TDC stock to -12*) and increased the advance curve inside the deistributor too, but had to run premium fuel in that car from then on.

Personally, I wouldn't take the chance of destroying the sensor as someone on there did. I just don't know if it would be worth it, but... it's your car and your money, Dude!! Try it if you like.

i prob didn't read that part then lol i stopped at where someone mentioned that it could damage the sensor and what not. then i closed it and said I GOT TO TRY THIS, ITS FREE!!....no grinding for me though i don't want to mess it up im not too good with grinding machines.

That too makes sense. The higher the elevation and the lighter air, the less(?) timing you'd probably want, and visa-versa.
It would suck living in a place like Colorado where vehicle performance must be sorely limited by the elevation.

Default side moldings

okay so ripping off the moldings was a breeze. now getting the crazy adhesive off is a pain. i think with my last car i ended up takin it to a body shop and they buffed the stuff off in like 10 min. However, i was am trying to do it myself and it took me an hour to take off adhesive on passenger door. SO any hints to help!?!?!?!?!!? Also while im here.. can i still buy the spray to black out my tail lights?!

Thanks guys!!
