Default Fujita F5 intake question

I installed the intake today on my 2.3l sedan and took it out for a little test drive - didn't throw the CEL (which i was very happy about) and it performed well.

but one thing i noticed, is that when i was on a "sweet spot" on the gas pedal, i could hear a high pitched whistle...but if i applied more pressure, the sound went away (same if i applied a little less pressure) did anything like this happen to anyone else with an intake on the car? any suggestions or tips to get it to stop whistling? It's not an RPM related sound, it has to do with position of the pedal.

I picked up the unit used with 2,000 miles on it, so it is in quite good condition...i also made sure all the fasteners are nice and tight to make it an air tight seal

i get a whistle with my short ram randomly aroun 3500 rpm usually but fluctuates. i think its just the filter sucking in air.

that whistle is normal. You will hear that whistle a lot more between shifts if you have M/T which i think you do from what i read. I have the same intake and no CEL yet, had it for about a month now. I also changed my header yesterday and put a thunder header on. No CEL yet...thank god.

becareful with those cai, when i first bought my 04' i threw a fujita on there...and at the time was fine, but roughly about 40,000 miles later and ive got a hydro-locked motor. the filter sits so low, and i hit a puddle just right....next thing i know ive got a rod jammed in the block. It worked out in the end though, just gave me an excuse to rebuild a bad *** motor!
