Exclamation Got HID...But they don't fit w/out a Spacer??

Hello,

I just purchased a set of 4300K HIDS. The problem I am having is the space between the bulb and the clip. Where can i purchase a spacer?

Hope someone can help as I was looking forward to put these in. Now I have to wait. Is there anyway to make a spacer or can I buy these at an autoparts store.

The Apexcones, as do others, come with the spacer.

However, I have heard and seen pictures of a guy who made some out of rubber tub stoppers.

The Aluminum was much easier for me since I had it at the house. Plus I was still worried about the heat on the rubber. But I did read that thread Richard.
No bounce and they do fit tight.

I actually made my spacers out of wood. I was also afraid of the heat...but everything is working out great! Nice and tight fit
