OK, My tires (225/45-17" Continental DWS) are in and waiting @ my installers, but I will not be able to have them installed (and alignment) until the week after next.
I have every other Thursday off from work. My automotive project(s) for today are:
And....
BUT.....

a little rain never hurt any1...just a chance of getting an annoying cold
BTW that bar looks friggen thick, once you get the chance to swap the bars you should put of a pic of both of em.
Side note, why the drilled rotors, you of all people should know that those types of rotors cannot be resurfaced and typically have a shorter life span.

I like 'em, but didn't want to "shave" my new pads every time the went around. As you can see these are not a full cross-drill pattern which I thought to be the best of both worlds.
Besides my factory ones w/57-58k miles on them are too worn to be safely resurfaced also, so what's the difference?
As far a shorter lifespan.... I never heard that one. I guess I will find out... the hard way as usual of course. The EBC's are the Greens which are the softest AM "street performance" pad I could find and one of the best for quiet stopping power. The Hawks are far more aggressive and noisy, as are the EBC reds and certainly the yellows and blacks.
These weren't too bad. I didn't spend the $500-$600 the EBC's, or equivalent would have cost. These are eBay specials, << $200. For what I usually use the car for, they should be fine. I am generally not hard on brakes... just the thin pedal!! I usually allow a lot of slow down distance between me and an intersection.

ah, the pics make the dimples look like the cardboard but its just the lighting. Yea i made the mistake of getting semi-metallic pads and man they dont shut the fk up.
Also imma have to back out on the buy for your bar Rich , i thought long and hard and as much as i love to get something for the car i decided that its not going to help me achieve my goal of getting another car sooner, so im just spending money on maintenance.

No, they are through holes, chamfered on both sides of course. No I meant that the cross-drilled pattern was not all across the surface of the rotor so there is solid surface w/relief holes in between.
I'm sorry to hear that, but I will sell it, I'm sure. I thought I might hold onto it for just a bit anyway to make sure that 27mm bar will not be too much. That way I can easily switch back to the 22mm w/o having to go all the way back to the OE 20mm bar.
As I think I'd said, I really wanted the 25mm Eibach bar, but others have gone this route too (OE Frt/27mm Rr.)
What are you looking at to replace the 3?

A 95 honda civic...im not joking, im not looking to rid of the 3 though, its just that for what i want to do to it i need a 2nd car to get around in. But when i do get the honda im going to build that first and when im done with go back to the 3, its just too expensive and too much of a hassle to just do minor things with the 3, so ill be doing a complete tear down and build it back up, and with the honda i can be fast for cheap and still have awesome gas mileage. To save some face i will say this, i really wanted to pick up a turbo rx-7 but a stock one is just too expensive to buy around 2.5-3k while a honda is 1k for one in great shape.

As promised:
Sharkfin
VentVisors
And today.....
Compare: Black is OE @ 20mm; Silver/Gray is Progess adjustable @ 22mm; Red is Racing Beat @ 27mm.
The rear end is DEFINITELY tighter. Move the wheel just a little bit and the car reacts! It's starting to remind me of my old short wheel base Civic, w/o nearly as much torque steer.

tq + honda = oxymoron , i kid i kid
I have to laugh at the stock sway bar, it looks like a pencil, and the racing beat looks like something you would bring to a fight. I also like that hammer you got there . Now you just need to get some shocks and springs then update your avatar
I must say the sharkfin looks a little wonky upclose, but from afar it looks nice and a good fitment, any issues with radio reception?
Good call on the visors, where did you pick them up from, if its not too much i might spring for one, since i dont have a/c and the car can get kinda hot with the windows up i wanna be able to crack the windows enough so some fresh air can come in and rain dont.
