Thanks - I went with the trico blades because i found out they actually engineer and manufacture some if not most oe wiper blades. Also had some bad luck on ebay thats hard to shake.

You don't have to go to a specific vendor, especially one that was a previous SPAMMER on this and many other car forums. Trico makes the blades and they can be had at most other places that carry Trico, including Amazon. And it doesn't take a video, or even a genius to install a new rear wiper.
I see you are from Wisconsin, mazdaj3, which I believe is where wipers123 is also from.
Be forewarned, Wipers123 was banned from this site and 3-4 others that I know of several years ago. If you are affiliated with them, and I don't know for sure yet, please don't assume that we are stupid, forgetful or that we are not watching.

And Bill, why did you not just get the insert for the ridiculous amount of around $13? From the cost you quote, it sounds like you bought the entire assembly from them.
