So I've read about this issue with the tail lights melting and noticed it yesterday on my girlfriend's car. I called corporate and set up a diagnosis with the closest dealership for today, and long story short, they are willing to cover 50% of the parts and labor to replace the tail lights. This comes to be a little under $300.

Now, I am thinking to myself why would I want to pay for something that came with the car and it's not my fault? 50% is nice, but 100% would be nice considering it's a design fault.

I was just wondering if there are any good and better non-OEM, non-LED tail light replacements out there that will last and not melt or have any other issues. Any input from personal experience is really appreciated.
