Hello, I was wondering if anyone has headers and exhast. I bought magnaflow exhausta couple months back. It good not to loud and not to quiet. My question was when u deleted your cat on the header did it make the carvery loud after that? thanks

Taking off your cat will not increase the sound since it is a pollution/emissions device. Please note that doing so may throw a check engine code. Also noteworthy is that taking off your cat increases pollutants into the envrioment. Here in CA taking off your cat is a big no no. Please leave it on, its there for a reason.

What he said. I put a Magnaflow stainless cat-back on my Ram. Great sound, but not obnoxious (in the cab or outside). Personally, I think the stock exhaust sounds pretty good. I have heard some sexy-sounding aftermarkets, too. Kinda pricey. Again, IMO.

thanks for the info 2.0. I am not to worried about the cats in S.C. no one has cats. Last car i had was straight pipe and loud. U talk about a cel i thought vibrant did'nt get those? I also saw a new header from thunder on another forum that has a hi-flow cat on it. But can not find any info on them. Or and thunder header. Any info onthat brand ofheaders?
