Default HELP!!! ABS and E-BRAKE LIGHTS ON!

So I live in the NE where we got hit with the snow storm last night. I brought my fiance to BK tonight and when I was driving the tires slipped like they do when you turn and brake and take off from a stop and then I noticed my "BRAKE" light and "ABS" lights were on. So I hit the brakes and the ABS was de-activated and I shut the car off and started it back up and the lights were still on. So we went into BK and came out and I started it up and the "BRAKE" (red e-brake light) light was off and the ABS was still on and after I started to drive the ABS light shut off. Is this a fluke? Was snow stuck in the brakes and wheels? I am just concerned. Should I bring it by to be checked out? I cant bring it until the weekend so I dont know if it is worth it.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I would say it was just a little ice.

It is not uncommon for snow, ice, or some combination thereof to collect on the wheel sensors, especially if you're driving in some deep stuff before the brakes are nice and heated up. Things are supposed to start warming up around here on Thursday, so if you see the lights after that, take it in for a look-see.

Also if they stay on check your brake fluid.

I remember someone else a while back had the same problem. They drove one snowy day and then the ABS light would come on, but then it would shut off. It must be the snow and ice accumulation.

Thank you everyone for all your help. I had a feeling it was just the snow ice, but I baby my car and worry and its good to hear some reassurances! Thanks!
