I have 2008 Mazda3 i 2.0L and it has a p2004 and p2009 codes. The car starts but there is a problem with the transmission. I was driving it and it started sputtering and had to be towed now the transmission when you put it in drive it starts vibrating the whole car and it cycles through the gears 1 and 2 by itself, then won't move. But if I reset the computer it will go in reverse and move for a minute then goes back to doing nothing. While researching I thought tcm. And from what I seen the tcm is integrated in the ecu on the 2.0L.
Has anyone else had this problem and changed the ecu and it fixed it.
