Hill climb leaves me stuck in 4th gear!

I haven't run into that specific situation again. At the time I thought it was confusion in the computer. I had cruise on and it was in 5. It was kicking into 4 right when I took the A/C off which kicked it into 5 and then due to the hill it kicked into 4 again. All this happened pretty much at the same time I pushed the button. I think the computer thought it was in 5 when it wasn't.
I have no idea if the fluid had anything to do with it but I had it flushed to be safe. It seems kind of quick for trans fluid to break down to me. Since I still have a warranty I get all of my work done at the dealer. It was a little over $200 to have it flushed at the dealer.

Correct.
It was 114 degrees out. I was in auto with the a/c and cruise control on at the bottom of the hill doing about 65. As I came up the hill it, all at about the same time, shifted to 4 and I turned off the a/c and it switched to 5 then back to 4. It stayed in 4. I went to manumatic and couldn't get it to do anything but it was clearly in 4 from the rpms. I stopped at a rest stop to take a leak. Got in and was fine from there on.
