I have an 06 Mazda 3i, just the basic auto with no power options. i love my car, i waited for 2 yrs to get this after we bought my wife's saturn. I can honestly say I will not drive her car unless I have to. The 3 is quick and responsive and corners very well, with the tip-tronic transmission for manual driving is nice on the open road. i have not made any mods to yet, but plan on just doing a k&N filter and new muffler and stereo. This is the most fun to drive and reliable car I have owned. I recently got it stuck in a sand ditch and my back tire was 3 feet of the ground, pulled it out, not a scratch on it and drives like it was new still.

 

i only have one problem with my stock 4 cyl. 06 M3 its nothing major but when found out i was kind of dissapointed, the M3's speedometer says it maxes out at 140mph so i figured the governer would kick in at 125-130mph but as i was racing down Highway 95 against a eclipse 03 with a cold air intake and i was winning...seriously (cause he was missed 3rd gear) and my governer kicked in freakin 118mph is was so mad cause i lost $10 which was going to be my gas money.[:@]

 

Had mine for 2 days now, 06 Grand Touring s model, and we're diggin' it. It's quick, not fast, but it handles great. Looks are really sharp, and we got quite alot of nice options for the price. Came down to a Civic Si or the 3 GT and we chose the 3. I even have the wife entertaining the idea of adding the Mazda turbo kit.... boy this is going to be fun!
