How much did you pay for your 2014 Mazda 3
I'm looking for a 2014 Mazda 3 to buy/finance. Just wondering how much you pay per month or total including tax title and all fees. Also which model you own.
I just visited a dealer and they were offering:
$259 per month with 1.9% apr
The retail price for the Mazda 3 i SV - $18,370
Fees cost $236.
Tax is almost $1000.
Trade in value of my 2000 Lexus Rx300 w/ 165000 miles was only 2k.
So that leaves the sales price at $17,602
What do you think about this offer?
I personally don't think its a great deal at all.

We are looking too for a new Mazda3.
Nowadays, there isn't much markup on the Mazda3s. You're probably looking at less than 7%. Kelly's bluebook should give you an idea what the price is in your area. Generally speaking, you should accept 3-5% above factory invoice (not MSRP) according to some sites.
However, they make no mention of the other BS fees like PDI (Pre Dealer Inspection), freight costs, and admin (documentation fees).
Right now, I am trying to find what the admin fees consist of. One dealer quote me almost $400. I think that's insane. Just like I think paying 5-$600 for PDI is retarded especially since the mechanic gets paid maybe 30min to 60 minutes to do the top up and inspection for the car. The lot boy does the cleaning and detailing. There is no way in hell it can come up to be that high. Its all a money making scam if you ask me.
In your example, take out the trade-in allowance. Then use the 3-5% rule above factory invoice.
Dont forget that Mazda has about 2% dealer hold back based on the invoice (not MSRP_ so you may wish to factor that into
