Use the beginning of THIS walkthrough to remove the stereo. I will add that there is a hook on the far right of the dash strip, so release the clips betwen the LCD and the far right, and then gently flex the dash strip to release the hook.

Beyond the Neo Ion there are many more options for ipod integration with the Mz3 stereo, and most of them cost much less. The audiolink from the rpm store is by far the best "bany for your buck" as far as functionality and features. Look HERE for more options.

Well I just installed the neo ipod adapter and its great. Im waiting for a proclip mazda holder and Dice nano holder. but the neo works pretty good, Its expensive but it works.

I ordered the Dice so I didnt have to keep pluging and unpluging the ipod. The idea is to be able to drop the ipod into the dice holder and go. if it all works out ill post a pic
