i have mazda 3 hatchback 1.6
what kind of intake which i buy to it?!
and is it supercharge work on it?
thanks guys
it depends on what you intend to do... you can simply change your current air filter to more porous ones like cotton or stainless steel.. simota and hurricane have them.. or ifyou can go for the CAI open pod short ram setup... second setup recommended imo if you are changing the exhaust and tuning the engine with a AFC or piggyback..

supercharging.. yes .. couple of 1.6Ls over here with illegal superchargers under their hood [sm=ts.gif]
hmmm well when it like doubles the horsepower in the car i would assume it would be illegal. how do the cops not notice? or if they do what happens do they pay them off?

Are there laws in Canada that limit how much power your car can produce or something?

Here in Detroit it's not unusual to see a 1000 hp Prostreet car rolling down the road.

well over here.. the cops will notice from the sound of the engine... superchargers tend to have a "SSSS" sound.. or if unlucky you get your bonnet lifted during their random stops..

Aha! Found it http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.ph...80.0;topicseen

It's a rotrex c15 supercharger. Here are the details from his post install dyno.

Speed :154km/h@6425
Power :190.3Hp@6425rpm
Torque:216Nm@5416rpm

Not bad for a 1.6L.
