Default Instrumentation thoughts?

After driving a 2014 CX-5 for 4 years, I'd like to downsize. Drove a 2017 Mazda3 hatchback yesterday. While I enjoyed the ride, and thought the visibility was better than the CX-5 (an admittedly low bar), I was, let's say, not at all a fan of the instrumentation. The delightful 3 large analog dials of the CX-5 -- gone. The large visible trip computer readout -- now smaller. And that pop-up display? Not so much.

An I alone here, or are there others of a like mind?

Check out the CX-5 forum. There are a few of us out there with like minds on the instrumentation, or lack thereof...

Thanks much. I didn't want to be alone in the wilderness.
