Default Interchanging parts between the sedan and the hatchback

First of all I am new here and I did try to search the forum for answers, but failing that I have posted the following.

I have two 2004 Mazda 3's, 2.3L, one is a 5 speed and the other is automatic. One is the 5 door hatchback model and the other is a sedan. Same colour, same engine, etc. Trouble is one has been hit in the rear (Sedan -A/T) and the other has been hit in the front (Hatchback 5-Speed). I am wondering which parts are interchangeable from the Sedan to the Hatchback? I need to replace the rad support, ac condensor, Radiator, W/washer fluid bucket, altenator, Power steering pump, etc.

Is there a way I can find out which parts are interchangeable?

Thanks.

alot of the stuf you mentioned should be interchangable...except for the radiator support. I believe that is different.

You can always bug Mazda over and over agian comparing parts numbers.

But alot of engine and suspension stuff is the same. Just not body panels etc...

did your 5-door 3s crash into the back of your 4-door 3s?

Most of them should be obviously except for the body panel. Think about it, is it cheaper or more expensive to make different parts for each car? The 6;s fog lights that were integrated into the headlight assembly were moved to the lower fearing, but they just replaced the foglight with a fake looking thing. They coul dhave changed the headlight unit, but it was an unnessacery (sp?) cost. So I dont think they would change anything in the 4 and 5 door unless it was nessec.

I spoke to Mazda today and they basicall said anything mechanical should switch over aside from the radiator because one is a standard and the other is an automatic. Other than that though steering box, A/C condenser, rad support, wiring harness, etc, should all be interchangeable.

Thanks for the quick responses guys. Also, No, the 5 door did not rear end the 4 door.
