whats going on guys, im a new member and i was curious to know who actually owned a mazda 3 and lived somewhat close to new york city. if there is anyone please feel free to contact me and let me know, i could really use some assistance wit my 3

 

Well I don't live in NYC, but welcome to the forum anyway. Try checking out the Northeast section at www.mazda3forums.com as I know there are lots of people in NY, and NJ over there.

thanks for the site.... well basically i been talkin to different shops to see if they got any kind of performance parts and otha random stuff for the 3...but they all say that their distributors dont have anything made for my car so i was just wondering where some of you other mazda3 owners got your parts....such as ecu chip, intake, exhaust, kits and so on

 

You'll find lots of good info. on the mazda3forums. Last I checked there were somewhere around 15,000 members, and people post very frequently. There aren't currently any chips out for the 3, and really there isn't a very big aftermarket so far. Kind of lame as the car's going into it's fourth year, but maybe it'll pick up when the mazdaspeed 3 comes out.

I'm not really into performance mods, so I'd just check over there lest I give you incorrect info.
