ok bimmer gone now (finally parted ways)
lookin for a 3 prob 2004/2005 as thats my budjet any does or donts as the wont be any spare cash for costly mistakes.

dont expect to see big gains with basic bolt ons, get a 2.3 manual if your looking for performance, some of the "free mods" dont actually do anything, there is no reflash for the ecu, dont half-@$$ any work, the 3 will come back to bit you pretty hard. O and the 04 will give you the most problems since its the 1st year, look for a 05 but if you can shoot for the 06 (last year before the problems started again)

definitely get a 3... they're selling at pretty good prices with low mileage. when you do find the one you want, make sure to get it professionally inspected! it's a small price to pay to know the detailed condition of the car. i'd suggest checking out aim mobile inspections. they did a great job on my mazda3. =) happy shopping!

ive been offered an 04 for £4500.00 with 60,000 in silver ts2 not sport as i had hoped but nearer my budget as bm did not go for what i hoped.
