Mazda 3 2.0 GT, 2006 - audio/performance questions
Hey all,
I recently bought my first Mazda. Nothing fancy and bit old but I'm liking it
The car is: Mazda 3 2.0 GT, 2006 (4D MAZDA3 SEDAN 2.0-BK12F6/264)
The car has it's original audio/radio system installed (6CD changer). It is some Bose system as it starts, Bose is displayed on the LCD.
Few questions:
Does the unit support playing MP3 files or only audio CD's ? (Havent had the time yet to try burning some CD's.)
I am having serious issues getting radio channels to work. For example, with the auto search function the unit does not find any channels at all. Manually setting FM frequencies to known channels it finds them but there is alot of static quite often, making it unbearable to listen. The antenna is "shark fin" like in the back of the roof.
Any tips how I could improve the FM reception?
I can not find any AUX connections to the unit. Is there any method which would allow me to connect my phone to the system, so I could play music / radio from my Android phone?
Can the engine be tuned (chip tuned?) so that the fuel efficency / performance would be better? Or is this something I should not bother with.
I appreciate any tips,
