Mazda 3 2.2 diesel crankshaft any advice ?

Hello ….. so I had to buy a new crankshaft for my 2016Mazda axela ….. just realize I ordered the wrong crankshaft and it’s actually the R2a from the older model …. It looks very similar not sure if it will fit ….. any advice ?

Very unlikely to fit. Totally different engine design & technology.
