Thank you Louis. Happy holidays to you too and to everyone. I don't want you thinking all 3 owners are cocky. I do admit that when i'm on the road i am king and have to be in front of everyone. And Virg, my finals are over, so now i have a month and a half of reading and posting. Especially how the 2.3 sedan is better lol. Just kinding, sort of. I have nothing against the hatch. It is practical and different, but i like the big butt of the sedan. One day i will be driving a hatch, but that's the only way the speed3 comes dressed in.
And Siber, i completely argree that i would be a lot happier without the very irritating seatbelt minder. I was in an 07 speed3 and they actually changed the tone of the minder. The one i have is pretty high pitched and does between 5-10 beeps. I always wear my seatbelt. I feel very uncomfortable in the front when i don't, but putting on my seat belt is not the first thing i do when i sit in the car. I start the car up and then put it on. OCD, i have to follow the same patterns. My bro on the other hand is an idiot. I let him drive my car for the day and he says to me, "Lev your car is the most annoying thing in the world!" I ask why, and he tells me that the seat belt reminder doesn't shut off. I tell him to just put the damn seatbelt on. He has gotten between 30-40 seatbelt violations. I'm afraid that one day i might lose a brother over something stupid.

For those that don"t know, the seatbelt minder can be deactivated by the dealer. As I understand it, they will ask you to sign a waiver form first. I always wear my belt too, except after checking for mail and before backing down my driveway. I should"ve had them do that the last time I was in for service. [&o]

I do wear mine, besides the fact that it is the law 1 actually saved my life in 1978, and I have been wearing it since.
It is the fact that I sometimes move the car without actually being on public property

My wife too.I just can"t convince her that seat-belts are a GOOD THING when sitting in a hurling object made of metal weighing in @ more than 2000lbs!! I"ve worn seat belts since lap belts were all that was available in this country. Sweden was so far ahead of us.
