Mazda 3 Emblem replacement
I have a 2008 Mazda 3 and changed the front chrome emblem to a black one and it looks awsome. I want to do the same to the rear one on the trunk but dont want to break or ruin anything. Is there a way to remove the old ne? Do I need special adhesive for the new one? any help would be great, thanks

..did you search...the back ones are attached on the car with double sided tape same with the mazda logo. There are also 2 holes under the mazda logo and 3 holes under the "mazda" lettering. Get some fishing line and wd40 and saw through the badges with the fishing line and wd40 to keep things going good. Once the emblem is off use goo gone to get rid of the glue.

yea you didnt paint them yourself?? im curious!
to restick them on you can buy different things. i used 3m plastic emblem adhesive in liquid form but it got kinda messy. i would recommend a thin tape adhesive or something. GL

I checked out Boostthat3's work and I think the painted badges look awesome. I think I am going to do mine myself, can't be that hard. A little Krylon and some two sided tape...voila!
Just kidding. My wife does airbrush work and all it would be for me to do is get the paint, and remove the chrome. I think a black car with matte black badges would look fantastic. I even kind of like the "Batmanized" flying M.
