mazda 3 question
Hey guys, I remember reading a thread about certain mazda 3's being a lemon. They had a date to determine which cars they were. I was wondering if anyone knows of the date or have read that thread. Can you link it please..if you have it. Thanks!

RE: mazda 3 question
Here is a link to a website about lemon laws: http://www.lemonlawamerica.com/
Basically a lemon is a car that has been taken in for repair multiple times with the dealer/mechanic not being able to fix the car to proper running condition. If, after a certain amount of reasonable attempts, the dealer/mechanic must either replace the car completely or buy it back from the customer for what they paid for it, including taxes, minus an amount seemed reasonable for use by the customer. At least that is part of the law in AZ. click on the link and see what it is for your state

RE: mazda 3 question
Because "Piece of ****" isn't politically correct.
I believe the definition came about because of the look on your face if you have a "lemon" vehicle.
They had to call it something, and it's been called the Lemon Law for a long time now (I believe it differs from state to state)
I certainly don't think any series of Mazda3 vehicles (or any Mazda for that matter) has been deemed a lemon. There may have been early issues in the launch of the program, but those should all be taken care of through the TSB's (technical service bulletin) that are publicly available records sent out to dealers to advise them of systemic problems.

RE: mazda 3 question
lol. Geo's. Those cars are like my poop. They look bad and they run like ****! ha ha. Insert laughter here! But seriously though, Mazda 3 are quite reliable. As mentioned above, their were some problems when they first came out. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy a 05 and newer!
