Mazda 3 struts
After an agonizing 2 years, multiple trips to the dealer (who gave me the run around 4 times) with a Mazda 3 that had mysterious "clunking" in the front end, I've finally figured out that my car news struts. I'll replace them all around while I'm at it. I was told that Koni's are my best choice, but this was by a race enthusiast and I don't want to make the ride any rougher. So with that in mind do you recommend, Koni? KYB? Monroe (which I assume are kind of bargain basement) I probably will only keep the car another couple years so I'd rather not spend gobs of money, but the clunking drives me nuts.
One other problem. When sitting at a traffic signal, the car lurches. I assume it's the compressor engaging and releasing but it does it even when the air is off. I find it quite annoying as well. Is there a way to fix this?
Other then these 2 flaws I do love the car!
