Just used the Mazda Toolbox software from Mazda website to update my Navigation SD card. It only updated it to Oct 2013 maps, but I would think spring 2014 will be out shortly. Beware that it took over 2 hours with a fast connection and for me the software killed all other internet access while it was updating. Thankfully, it saved my address entries.

 

I updated my maps over the weekend, seems to have updated to the spring map packs for USA and Mexico. Took over 8hrs overnight with high speed internet. Bogged everything down. Seems pretty slow for about 3GB of data!!

 

Just noticed, the damn toolbox program chomps quite a bite from hard drive, 4GB backup file, some 5 gigs in one hidden folder and another 4 in downloaded temporary files it apparently doesn't remove itself after used. Usually not a problem but I installed it on my laptop with 120GB SSD for convinience of not taking SD card away from car(and thus forgetting it somewhere). The backup I understand, update temp files are just plain stupid... program itself is pretty bad too, crashes when I try to change backup location.

Also got a letter today, dealed whom I bought my car is quitting with mazdas and another local company has taken over Mazda importing and dealership. As far as reputation with other brands go, their service should be way better.
