Mazdaspeed 3 door molding removal?

fishing line/tooth floss. Get it under one end and saw back and forth until you released enough to pull. It helps to have the molding warmed up as it will soften the adhesive, so either sit it in the sun in hot weather or get a heat gun. Goo gone the residue and you're good to go.

Being it is a 2008, it's probably the difference in paint color from exposure to the sun. You could try some rubbing compound on whole side followed by wax, but i have my doubts.
