No issues here....If your car is under warranty why not go to the dealer to have it fixed??

Now that i think about it ALOT of 6 speed trannies are having problems with 3rd gear syncro, i mean there have been reports of failures in 5spds too but more commonly i hear/see it in the 6 spds, my friend in the spd3 just went though a 2nd and 3rd gear syncro, i also know some1 who swapped a spd3 trans in his reg 3 and 2nd day on the circuit the 3rd sync went out

and yah, tracker, every one i know hates their 3rd gears on the 6 speeds!!! i hate mine! its not that they are going out already, but more so the way the trans was designed and where the shift linkage meets up for the 3rd gear makes it harder to get into without misshifting if your really goin at it! if you get a chance to race in one, youll know what i am talking about... you realy need to warm the gears up before you try and pull someone from a dead stop!

need to beef up tranny before you drop the hammer with those wide, low profile, sticky tires gripping the pavement. Or better yet , save it for the track.

yah im at 18 k, on mine! and i dont really have bad enough to take it in issues, but it just wont let me slide into gears that easy... i took it in to get the shift lever fixed, and after the gear box was lubed up more it was easier but still a pain to get the 3rd gear syncrows spinning like they are supposed to... been happeneing since about 3000 mi on the car
