Default Multiple warning lights

A few weeks ago brake, abs and dcs lights came on, took it to mechanic they said I’d be looking at about $700-800 to fix hydraulic part abs module (have previously spent $1000 fixing ?another part of abs). They told me i could still drive the car but.
Then a few nights ago I put the car into drive, I heard a clunk, the AT and check engine lights came on and it started making a weird noise and seemed to be stuck in 3rd gear.
Given its a 2009 mazda 3 with some damage to body (front driver side panel) and has 170,000km I’m thinking of either scrapping it or seeing if a wreckers wants it as it’s not worth fixing….would I be right?
