I have one as well, on my sedan, and have gone through car washes before. They are held on with double sided tape. Once they are down, it would be very difficult to get one off. No worries in the car washes. Here's the page: http://www.sharkfinantenna.com/ .

yeah, I got mine from http://www.sharkfinantenna.com also. Real easy to install. Only take a minute. The fin seems real sturdy. I dont see any problems with it. It's on there for good. Costed me $72 painted and shipped.

It hold great. Loike a strong 3m tape. Most of the 3m double sided tapes are just about perminent. Once you put it on it stays on. I wouldn't worry about it. It took me 2 minutes to put it on.

Yeah there is no way it is coming off unless I put force and effort into ripping it off. Wind won't take it off and an automatic car wash won't either.

Your paint code should be on the sticker on the driver door jam. Just open up your door and look on the sticker.
