I installed a neo ipod intergation and the thing didnt work correctly so I contacted cust. support and they told me to try all this crap and nothing was working right,. so I call back yesterday and get the same guy and he say's they are having problems with the 2007 mazda software in there device.. well A--H--- why didnt you tell me that three days ago when I called.
this thing cost $180 bucks.. plus the time I spent F__ing with it. I'm pissed!!

Thier sevice and attidute sucks, although they let me return it.. they make it sound like I did something wrong... jerk SAY AWAY, FAR AWAY

Now what???? Anyone order the Mazda dealer Interg. kit for a 07?

I need my ipod in my car and I dont want to go FM mod. I do to much traveling to dick around with that..

Looked at DICE web site but they dont have a 07 model for the 3 yet



Now I'll have to see if they actually credit my credit card..

 

Mazda's still don't have auxillary inputs for mp3 players? Or just nothing Ipod specific? Do their cd players play mp3s?

 

I think you mean "Neo Ion", not neo ipod. It's likely that they just need to update the firmware on the modules to play nice with the updated firmware on the 2007 HUs. I know this happened with a few of the other methods that have been released over the past few years whenever the new model/years have been released.

There are some good things that came out of this though.
-you found something that has problems for '07's (now you can warn other people)
-they were nice and refunded your money
-you can now spend less on a method that works better.

Check out THIS thread for info. on all of the available audio input, and ipod integration methods. From what people that use them have said the audiolink is the best bang-for-your-buck of all of the ipod methods as far as cost, functionality, and usability. Also from what people have said the OEM method is annoying to use because of the way you control the ipod.
