Hey guys, I just bought a 2010 Mazda 3i SV. As a long time Honda enthusiast, I am blown away by this car right out of the box. Not only does it offer great handling, but the interior is top notch for such an inexpensive car.

I previously owned an EM1 (00' Honda Civic Si) and the sway bars/spring rates on this little 4 door out match my car in every category. I'm looking forward to talking with a lot of you and gathering insight about tuning as I know I have plenty to learn!! :P

Here's a few shots I took when I arrived back at home with her.

Hahahahaha. He did take good pictures of the car. These were the only flattering pics of the 2010 that i've seen.

haha Well thanks guys. You sure do not like the '10 do ya? Personally this model will grow on most people as this car is really an attractive car in person. Not to mention only in stock form.

As for the civic, after a built motor, zero gas mileage, and issues from the original build, I was over it. Although I will miss the aftermarket support.

what camera did you use dstylez, you might not have good taste in cars (atleast it got worse after the Si) but you do have an excellent eye for electronics.

And im sorry if im offending you but if you had a "built" motor in your old honda and didnt like the gas mileage with issues, your tuner or whoever built the motor messed up, may i ask what was done to it?

Photos were shot with a Nikon D80 and a 17-55mm 2.8. I'm a photographer in my part time.

I've owned a 93 gsr hatch (EH), 96 show hatch (EK), 95 Integra gsr (DC2), and a 00 Si (EM1). The EM1 was a b18/b16 combo with stock internals, cams/gears/valves, arp head studs, balanced and blueprinted, i/h/e, clutch/short shifter. The car was a mild build, but I made the mistake of ordering from a private seller from Cali. I usually went with Hmotors online, but this was a fresh build. Unfortunately I found several problems and after a few rebuilds I was over the worries.

Some of you really do amaze me in how bad you hate your own brand. Honda's arn't as pretty as they use to be, but they perform better. Same with the 3. I'm happy and you will too once you see the possibilities with a nice setup.

Is it fair that I hate the new 3? I have a Chevy.

Seriously though, that's a nice Honda list. A friend owns a 96 EK coupe, with I believe a b20 block, b18 heads. I don't know much more about it, but I believe he said 190ish WHP. It's plenty quick, but sleeper. Looks stock from the outside, which is rare for many Civics.

As much as i love my design over the 2010, I've always said that if anything happens to my car i will get another Mazda3, as long as it feels and performs the same. My car is going on 5 years and and 90,000 miles. I haven't had any issues (knock on wood). If it does crap out, or gets into an accident, I will be looking at a new blowfish. Love the car, hate the design.
