Default new memeber with 2005 Extended Warrenty Questions...

Hello
I have a 2005 gt / auto / hatchback / 2.3 liter / ac ect....

it has 46,500 km (29,000 miles)

of course it is out of factory warrenty and I looked up at mazda that its inservice date was oct 2004.

I bought a warrenty that coveres everything pretty much... the dealer really put the pressure on me... so
for 1820 dollars I have 40,000km or 4 years with a 200 deductable.... its kinda like insurance i guess and if i dont use it at the end i was told i get a total refund, however on the contract there is a 300 dollar fee and i have to take away plus my deductable so thats 500 lost (if i dont use a single thing on the warrenty) and if i have a small repair of maybe 300 then its probally not worth it to access my warrenty as i dont want to blow it on something like a tie rod...

so i have 30 days to cancel it and i was told id get all my money back *(on the fine print they keep 100 dollars ) but im really conflicted on what to do with this... .....

no idea what goes wrong on our cars that can require a 2000.00 fix ( 1800 warrenty plus my deductable) when i access it...(other then a total engine / tranny melt down*kock on wood* )the car looks to be in good shape and the mileage reflects it.

Get your money back, put in a bank, and draw against it if you need unscheduled repairs. Odds are extremely good that you'll come out ahead in the end.
