I have never liked that look, and it was hell trying to find Red Bulbs, but good old EBay came through again LOL

To each his/her own, but I have always thought the amber turns were a good idea.
We didn"t have that option when I was a kid. Everythinghad red tails in Americaand we only started seeing it turn up on some European cars in the mid-late "60"s... a VW Beetle w/Euro tail lenseswas the first I saw.
The amber is generally brighter and helps to better distinguish between someone"s running or brake lights (especially if the driver is the stupid type that likes to tap his foot to the music while on the brake pedal.)

I mean, they don"t look bad to me and if you like them better than the amber then it"s a good choice for you.
Are they painted 7440"s or some type of 7440 LED bulb?

I thought so too when I saw your picture, but pictures don"t always tell the truth, especially where color is concerned.

Now that looks more like it, and I like them much better int at pic. Of course they do look more amber/orange than red as you say.

They are almost invisible when they are off, they show a little red but not like the ambers looked amber.
Therefor I got the look I was looking for [8D]

I'm with Richard, I prefer amber turn signals. I believe there were actually some studies done where amber was shown to elicit the "danger" response more in people.

I always get annoyed by the red turning signals over here
I grew up in England where its law to have amber indicators
It just seems lazy to me to use red lights or make the brake lights flash etc, my 2 cents
