I know i just posted, But Not sure what to do and need some suggestions.
I'm not trying to turn my mazda into a turbo charged beast ...AKA full out race car.
I'm just trying to bring out the HP it already has as stock and I want it to handle like a deam.
(those are my 2 main objectives)
Lets say i have about 1000-1500 to throught into the car. Not sure what i said be looking at as far as the best/cost effective mods i can do for my 1500 dollars. (more money will come, but for now its 1500)
Heres a list of what i'm thinking about, just general things I'm considering.

-Mazdaspeed clutch/flywheel

-Eibach sway bars (would it even impact the car without the right suspension?)
(would like coil overs but um....there goes my 1500 bucks)

-short shifter

-Springs
-
figure new clutch would bring out the stock hp a little more, atleast the feel.
Not sure what road to go down, as far as mods for 1500, coilovers are something I know I want to do, but i would rather start off small.
Any suggestions? I'm pulling my hair out and i just want to spend my cash and get this thing started!

well, to start things off... could you have us your year/model/engine so we can help you out a little bit.

one thing that i've done as well as many other vehicle owners when modding their ride will tend to get a cold air intake or a short ram air intake. this allows for you to get more hp as well as torque. when i put my cold air intake on my car, there was a much better throttle response (whether it be just gassing is slowly or romping on the gas). in my opinion, this modification is very nice to have and doesnt blow away your bank account.

well what i do to get ideas for performance setups is to go to CarDomain (one of the vendors for this website) and search the vehicles. you get to see alot of custom work as well as cars that just bought parts right off of a supplier from the internet or even a distributor.

here's the link for the website (http://www.cardomain.com/

Cardomain currently has 1165 Mazda3 Rides, its just a matter finding your 2.0L ones to look at. I dont want to make you lean towards getting certain performance parts. I leave that up to you but if you need any recommendations on parts that you find, i'm sure there will be some members that can help you out.
