outside temp and sat. radio
just wondering if there was a way to rest the outside temp gauge thats on the HUD for the radio? Mine reads ---. It will sometimes work but will be way off. Is there a way to tell if the sensor is bad for it?
Also the sat. radio, who do you have to go threw to activate it and if you don't have it and push the button shouldn't it at least do something because mine does nothing.
Just a few minor things i;m trying to sort out.

What year is your car and where are you located?
In the US the ambient temp. display wasn't available until '06. Occasionally someone's display would spontaneously start showing the "---" but no one could figure out how to make it do that. The sensor is located in the front lower grill. It's possible the cable is just loose, so you might try unplugging it and plugging it back in and see if that helps.
For the SAT the car is "satellite ready", meaning that the HU can control the OEM sirius module, but that module still needs to be installed. The button still won't do anything until the module is connected.
