Default Paint/Wrap

How much would it cost to wrap my 2.5L black or white? Would it be cheaper just to do it myself (I have no experience doing it) and is it hard?

Wow. What a tough question to answer. Google wraps and you will find the cost to do it yourself. Google a local shop and you should find costs (if you expand your search, you should find some shops somewhere to give you a guess to work with.)

I would guess 300.00 US$ to do it yourself and maybe 2,000 to have it done. (I played with the idea a while back and think this was what I came up with.)

The big question is can you do it yourself. That depends on your skill set, patients, your willingness to watch enough how-to videos to learn how to do it and your tolerance for errors.

i could not even pull off putting stripes on my MINI without messing it up. (I think it was too cold when I tried.) I ended up painting the stripes with Plasti-Dip which look great.

Doing a wrap yourself correctly would require removing and reinstalling the trim (if you want to do it right.)

Good luck and let us know how it turns out. We will want pictures of your success.

Thanks for the info! What is plasti dip? Is it cheaper/better than wrapping or painting?

look it up on YouTube. I don’t know if I would try a whole car but for limited areas like stripes or blacking out trim it is cheep, easy to do, and easy to change your mind. Make sure it is not cold when you either do plasti-dip or wrap.

I found the price to be far cheeped at Home Depot then Amazon.
