Well, the wait is finally over! I got the call Saturday from my buddy (the owner of the local Mazda dealership). He got in (2) 3Speeds. A black GT and a silver one. Today, I went and drove the black beauty, and I bought it on the spot. Everything I read is true. This is an incredibly SWEET ride. TONS of torque. Also, the fit and finish is very good. I am picking it up tomorrow at 1:3o. More details to follow

I just got home with my new "baby"! Overall, I am thrilled with the car (not only the performance, but the overall solid feel). I suppose I will have to change my screen name, cause I ain't a "wannabe" anymore. LOL!!

What do you drive in the rain? I drive my 89 MX6 GT (Turbo) with auto tranny.

 

I drive my Explorer 4 x 4 in crappy weather. I had a 98 Corvette convertible that never saw rain. LOL!

Yeah, I like the Corvette too. I have had several, going back to 1980. The C5 was heads and shoulders about the others. I kept it about 2 years, but I never really fell in love with it.

I like this little Mazda, and time will tell how I really feel about it. It really is fun to drive though. Kind of reminds me of my first go cart when I was a kid. As my uncle used to say "you could turn it on a dime, and get a nickel back" LOL!
