Please help!
If anyone can offer any suggestions, I'd be EXTREMELY grateful. Tonight I changed the oil in my 2005 Mazda3 (2.0 engine), automatic tranny. I put it up on the ramps, changed the oil, and then attempted to drive it off of the ramps. But, the car doesn't move. The indicator light says that it is in reverse, but when I press the gas the car does not budge. I tried putting it in drive to see what that would do. At first it says it is in 1st gear, but then if I let it idle for about ten seconds the indicator light says that it is in 4th gear. I put a jack under it to get it off of the ramps, and tried pushing it just to make sure that it isn't a stuck parking brake, and it rolls fine, but it still won't get power to the wheels. The car has 45k on it. Any suggestions?

RE: Please help!
I'm supprised that Virgin hasn't shown up to help. Anyway, sorry to hear that. here's what I'd do if i were you (i have the same car, 07 year model).
(1) re-check to see if you accidently "touched" any electric connections during your oil change;
(2) re-check the oil and filter;
(3) if your car is still under warranty, call dealer for help;
(4) it would not hurt if you disconnect the battery for 15min, and then reconnect, hoping re-booting ECU would get things back to normal.
