Hi there. I'm looking at purchasing a used, light green metallic 2009 Mazda 3i Sport Sedan in the next day or two with 100k miles. I haven't tested it or seen it in person, only photos. What's the price for a good condition (range)/2nd owner no accidents?
What should I pay particular attention to when looking and listening to the engine/road testing? Any specifics that stand out for this year and model? I am going to pull a Carfax tomorrow but want your take.

Those are pretty good cars in my opinion. I've seen some get almost 300,000 miles on them with proper maintenance. I'd make sure it has had just that. 100,000 miles is not terrible, I'd for sure check the basics: oil condition, leaks, shift points. Hopefully pretty stock, as that's the best hopes of everything working as it should.

Overall it's a pretty solid car that I would spend a couple thousand on. As of exact price, I cannot say as location varies. Obviously stay away from rust, if any. Not much to say other than the basics. The car will do everything itself.

Hopefully the Carfax checks out for you! Make sure to look for any major repairs. Or even minor ones that look suspicious. Let me know how it all goes, as I would love to hear how it goes. Maybe upload some pictures as well.
