Your dealer carries aftermarket carpet kits?

OK, I"m being a smart-***.
Try eBay (of course,) and perhaps Auto Anything might have something too, but they tend to be on the pricey side.
Or, dogeneral online search (Google/Yahoo, etc...)

I did an on-line search last night and came up empty, so you might be stuck with Going toMazda.

On a Side note Richard, where did you get the plate on the footrest next to the clutch on yours?

And I highly recommend them. Mine have been on for 3 yrs now and still look GREAT!! (Machined finish.)
Plus, they are much more grippy than the rubber pads in all conditions and provide a more direct feel too.

Why don't you do what I am going to do in the spring, that is, go to an upoulstry shop. pick out the grade of carpet, and color I want, and let them custom make it for the car.
I hate that ultra chepo stock.carpet that came with the car.
I will be picking out something very close to the exterior color which is Arurora blue.
When the government sent me that stimulus check a while back, I used it for sheepskin seat covers.
That way, the leather is protected from the dog's nails when she is in the car.
The covers match the light grey of the headliner, and with that blue carpet I want, I think it will look great.

I looked at the video, and the carpet kit, but there is a problem, it only comes in black or beige.
I guess my best bet is to have it custom made in the color I want.
Also, the carpet I want is 32 oz.
I am not just doing over the carpet in the cabin area, I will also be doing the storage area behind the rear seat of the hatchback.
The 32 oz is a real thick carpet so, I don't think, even if I did consider a kit, it wouldcome with that top grade carpet.
Thanks for posting that link though.
Bob.

Where did you find seat covers that are compatible with the side impact air bags?

Custom colours are available ($60 extra), but I didn't list it in the website to keep selection simple. Storage Area carpet can be made available also, but I would have to get that priced for you.

The Ultra Lux is actually quite thick and might be thicker than a 32oz. It is the same quality, thickness as luxury vehicles like Mercedes and Cadillac.

Hope that answers your questions.

Dave
