Hi, new to forum.

I put my 2017 Mazda 3 SE in for its MOT today and it failed on a really strange issue. Basically, when the rear fog light is turned on, both the fog light and the reverse light come on. Similarly, when the car is put into reverse, both lights come on.

Im suspecting a shorting issue somewhere, but has anyone ever seen something like this before, or can suggest a possible cause?

Seems to be only European cars in the US that have a rear fog light lol. Same with parking lights, the ones that light up either the right or left tail light, intended for parking in narrow unlit streets.
