Default scanguage accurate?

my scangauge is making me feel too happy....first it told me i had 189hp but i didn't really redline or push it real real hard. Today i put premium gas in and went for a trip. I found an empty road and just went for it with a buddy in my car. My scangauge said i had 232hp from first....the forum isn't letting me type the rest of what i want to say WTF

Forum problems aside, you don't have anywhere near 232 HP. It's obviously not accurate.
