If you really dont want to wear your seatbelt you can connect the belt within 20 seconds of starting the car and unbuckle within 20 seconds I believe it is and it will temp. shut it off until you shut off your car. I never wore my belt before but since I got my 6i I wear it everytime now and I am thankful. I have crashed 3 times and 2 times on a motorcycle, I am starting to run out of lives so I wear it everyitme now.

 

Like someone else mentioned above. Go to the dealer and request for them to turn off the belt minder. it's a simple computer hookup and should only take a few minutes. They'll probably charge you for it though.

Also I'll chime in and say WEAR YOUR DAMN SEATBELT!!!!! They save lives. It's much harder to get thrown from your vehicle in an accident when you're strapped into it. Also if your airbag deploys and you're not wearing a belt it can kill you. [/rant]
