Default Seat Belt Beeps

Hi All,
My son has a Mazda 3 and recently one of the rear seat belt alarms started beeping. Now two other seat belts are doing the same thing!
Any ideas? Can he disable the beeps?
Cheers,
Dave.D.

A few more details: This is the rear seatbelt I'm talking about. They normally beep once when driving if one gets unbuckled. The left rear started randomly beeping even if no one was in the seat, now all three are doing it. The warning lights above the rear vision mirror come on with the beeps and show red or green randomly for each buckle. It's really annoying as you can imagine, because there is no way to control random 'beep be-beep beeeep!' as you're driving along by yourself! Except for maybe buckling up all three rear belts permanently.

I asked Mazda service to look at it and they wanted to replace each buckle at $220 each! So if there is a way to switch off the rear seatbelt beep that would solve my problems. Or perhaps I can just unplug the wire going to each buckle in the rear. Anyone know how/where to do this?
