When i drive my car over bumps or rough roads the headlights shake a lot. Its a halogen light soi checked to see if the bulb was loose but it wasnt.I recently changed the bulb and it was very difficult to take it out. The metal prong did not want to give. Ever since i changed it i noticed the shaking so i am wondering what i did to make this happen and if there is a way to fix it. It is irritating to see the headlamps shake and i drivemainly ondark roads so i notice the shaking a lot. Any input is much appreciated.

 

Ooops! This sounds like trouble.
You said you checked to see if it's loose? Check it again.
1. Is that little bugger of a clip properly reinstalled? Use a mirror if you have to to double, triple, quadruple check. Those are a big PITA!!! The worst designed headlamp clip I have ever personally experienced.
2. Did you replace the H7 adapter from the old bulb to the new one? If the answer is no to either of these questions, there is your problem.

 

I took the light out and put it back in and everything is nice and snug in, but it still shakes. i had the problem before and i went to the dealership and they replaced the headlamp and now i change the bulb and its doing it again.

 

Lev, that ain't fittin' something is wrong there.
Either the adapter is missing, or misinstalled, or the clip is... unless the filiment is simply loose in the bulb envelope?

 

Is your car still under warranty?

 

Yeah it is still under waranty but i got the same headlamp replaced twice
