Default Shocks for Eibachs

I'm looking at getting a set of Eibach Proline springs for my car. What shocks match up to those springs?

I can only comment about the research I have done since I ended up using stock struts for the time I had springs, but everything I have read those koni yellows are great for lowering springs and they are adjustable.

The Eibach ProKit springs with regular Speed3 stock shocks? The ProKit does lower it but I won't be doing any more than that.

I have yellows on w/H&R springs and it's definately stiffer/harder riding than before. The rears are set about half way and the fronts are set completely loose.

The OE's will do fine, but may wear a little faster since they won't be quite centered any more, but I have not heard/read of any real problems using the OE's.

If you want the complete package, I suggest looking into the Koni FSD system. Comes complete as a kit. The shocks are not manually adjustable as they are using the yellows but are designed to self-adjust based on conditions. They are said to ride well over normal roads but the valving stiffens them under more extreme conditions. The entire kit is around +/- $600, which isn't bad.

It doesn't look like the Koni FSD is available for my car unless that's what they call the STR.T in their finder.
I wonder who makes the Speed sport dampers.

Oops. $740 w/matching springs (Eibach ProKit, just what you were looking for... 1.4"F/1.2"R) but you may be able to do a little better shopping around.

Ummmm, you sure about that, Tracker?
I know Eibach originally made (makes?) the MS sway bars, and that AEM produces the CAI for MS. I would imagine the sport shocks and coilovers are also produced by a company that already has that capability, albeit to Mazda's specifications... which may, or may not be the same as the AM parts being produced from the same jobber/vendor.

In either case, I think the Koni FSD is the better buy all around. A complete package for $740. The MS shocks/struts alone are $560. Add another $200+ for the Eibachs and your still saving a few bucks. Easier to get, I'd bet too.
