Speed3 and bluetooth handsfree

Speed3 and bluetooth handsfree
I recently purchased a 2008 Speed3, and am interested in getting a Parrot MK6100 hands-free bluetooth unit to add to the vehicle.
Does anyone have experience in installing this unit in a Speed3 or any Mazda with a Bose stereo system?
Any reviews out there to sway me away from this particular purchase? Or other units that may be better?
I'd like to do the work myself, to save the hefty installation fee.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Speed3 and bluetooth handsfree
Currently, I'm using a BlueAnt Supertooth 3 (funny name, I know) and am pretty happy with it. It'sperforms well and has nice features despite beingvery reasonably priced(of course, it's now available for substantially lessthan what I paid for... *sigh*). Check it out here: http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phone-a...?tag=mncol;lst. It's a stand-alone/portable unitwhich does not broadcast audio via your car's stereo and doesn't require installation;you can bring it from one car to the next. When I was shopping for a bluetooth speakerphone, I decided against the ones that broadcast through the stereo, because you have to be tuned in to use it. With my current speakerphone, I can use it while concurrentlylistening to the radio, a CD, or an MP3 player via the auxiliary jack. Research your options thoroughly and never hesitate to utilize the store's return policy if you're not satisfied with how your chosen speakerphone works, until you find one you're happy with.

I just don't have any experience installing one into a premuim stereo system like the Bose.

You're welcome, but I should tell you that I know nothing about Bluetooth, except that everyone seems to be wearing those wireless ear pieces these days... except me and my wife.
I/we are not in that world, preferring to keep it more simple, so I didn"t know if that"s what you were after or not. Thought I"d give it a try on your behave. "Sorry it wasn"t what you were after and wishI could be more help.

I appreciate the help. I've used the bluetooth headsets before as well. They always seem to run out of charge when you need them, are uncomfortable if worn for extended periods of time, and the fit to your ear varies with each one. There definitely is not a one size fits all headset.
The stand-alone units are a good step in the right direction, but I'm looking for something more. I'm always interested in what other people are using though.
Thanks,
