Heh heh, knock on wood, the cops in my part of the world don't generally pull you over til you're 15 over, and they are predictable as hell. Always in the same spots. Always. It's been about 7-8 years since I've had any kind of moving violation at all. And I do drive fairly aggressively. Once again, knock on friggin' wood.

check your gas cap, tighten it, if that's the cause then it should turn off. when the gas cap is not tight fuel pressure it lost or the sensor detects a leak in negative pressure and the engine light comes on. try it.

check the gas cap. if it's not tighte it can trigger the engine check light because of the loss of negative pressure

My wife and I purchased a S3 last weekend. I am located in NC and only two dealerships had one on the lot w/in a 75 mile radius. We qualify for Ford's Xplan and they both refused to honor it until the last dealership got us into financing and we refused to accept the payment. We almost purchased the Audi A3 earlier that day and I am very happy we did not. Unfortunately, I am stuck with our TDI and she gets the S3.

I live right outside of Raleigh. I have not seen another S3 within the past two weeks. Good to hear there is one in Winston Salem.

I'm near Greensboro - I've had my speed3 for 2 months. It goes in next week for P0441 and P2006 CEL codes. I hope it just needs fixing once for this.......... Still makes lots of grins when the right foot drops though

The dealer here (Bob King Mazda) is a friend of mine. He has sold 8 S3s. None of them sat on the lot more than a few days. However, I have only seen 1 other one cruising around. So, I suppose the buyers are mostly out of towners.

Do you know the approximate # of S3s, which will be available in North America during 2007? Just curious.
