Glad to see the thread is still alive. I have been super busy and haven't had much time to check in. Looks like almost everyone is still enjoying their car with no substantial problems. My overall mileage continues to get better, and is now a bit above 25 mpg (according to the computer).

audi4snow

congratulations - after 5700 miles I still haven't run out of acceleration grins

on the mpg, don't take the onboard computer at its word. Mineconsistently says about 2.5mpg better than what i actually get.

does anyone know if the speed3 spoiler and 3s 5-door spoiler are interchangeable. not that i am considering swapping a speed3 spoiler onto my 3s, but i think that the 3s spoiler is a lot nicer and more subtle and would look good on a speed3 if it will fit.

That question was asked on the Mz3 forums a while back by a guy inNew Zealand, I think it was, though he wanted to go the other way (MS3 spoiler > Mz3 HB.)
I don't know if anybody was able to answer him.
At the time, I felt the same way you do, but the MS3 spoiler has kinda' grown on me. Either way, if it comes from Mazda or MazdaSpeed, it could get expensive FAST.

Hi, everyone. just looked thru all the postings on this thread. We got our MS3 GT black in april. Traded our SP2.3 5 door in after test driving it when in for an oil change. wwwwwow! No problem to report 4500mi. also paid $1000 under msrp. Just installed CAI and love the sound. Waiting for the cat back all are Ms parts $850 for both from dealer here in S.C. Gas mileage 27 mpg mostly highway but going down since CAI (foot problem) lol

Has anyone had a problem with the media button not changing the mode on the Bose stereo? I want to plug my Ipod in the input but I can't get the stereo to switch to the "input" mode.

Hi all, I just hope you will accept me in this thread . Because well actually I don't have a Mazdaspeed, but I got the European MPS. I only found one difference so far, I noticed on some pics here that there is a gap between the spoiler on the trunk and the roof. Mine doesn't have that gap, it is against the roof from side to side. Maybe we can all start looking for some other differences.

Mmmmm MPS is the european version of the MS3 so why wouldn't we accept you into our kind? Heheh

The American MS3 does have the gap between the roof and the spoiler. Yours is the regular 3 spoiler.

Looks good.

I think something the speed3 needs are fatter tires. I LOVE looking at the back and seeing wide tires on the rears.
